We are moving to a Session Registration Model! What does this mean?
Our classes meet once a week for six weeks. Our classes need a minimum of four students enrolled for the full session (all 6 classes) to remain active on our schedule. Classes that reach the 4-student enrollment minimum will then be able to offer drop-ins, meaning you can join and pay on a class-to-class basis. We highly encourage you to enroll ahead of time- it saves you money and helps our coaches and community!
How to enroll in a session:
1. Visit our registration software, Pike13 here. If you do not have a profile create a profile.
2. Purchase a 6 class pass for the type of class you would like (purple or green).

3. Either enroll yourself in each individual class in the session through the calendar or Email amelia@wisefoolnm.org the name and time of the classes you want to enroll in and our Adult Programs Coordinator will bulk enroll you.
Sliding Scale Payments:
In order to ensure that everyone in Northern New Mexico has access to the magic of the circus arts,we are implementing a sliding scale payment policy. We are allowing folks to enroll at a regular price, a discounted price or at a price that allows us to pay extra and subsidize our classes. Pay it forward (which pays over basic price and supports other student’s needing a discount)true cost, and the discounted price. When you enroll please enter the following codes to ensure you are paying the right price:

In this class we will explore breath, stillness, presence, relationship, objects, and the human condition.
Sarah-Jane Moody has been working with Wise Fool since 1996 primarily as a clown but also loves to write, direct, make music, and disrupt the military industrial complex whenever possible. She is a graduate from the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, CA and has studied red nose clown with Avner Eisenberg, Giovanni Fusetti, and Ronlin Foreman to name a flattering few. The world of the clown and the journey that it proposes is quite profound and beautiful, and is a deep passion and constant source of inspiration and fascination.

Learn or further develop the fundamentals of aerial fabric, sometimes called "silks". This course will include climbing, wraps, foot locks, drops, and poses. From conditioning and basic skills to explorations in choreography, fabrics are a fun way to build core strength and flexibility while defying gravity! Beginner/Intermediate: designed for total beginners or students who are working up through sequence 5.

Learn or further develop the fundamentals of aerial fabric, sometimes called "silks". This course will include climbing, wraps, foot locks, drops, and poses. From conditioning and basic skills to explorations in choreography, fabrics are a fun way to build core strength and flexibility while defying gravity! Pre-registration is encouraged as classes fill up fast! Sign up for one or more classes per week. Mixed Level Fabric: suitable for complete beginners all the way through advanced students.

Also known as "acroyoga", Partner Acro involves sharing weight and balancing between two or more people. We'll explore acrobalance from the circus perspectives, blending trust and connection with dynamic play, flexibility for mind and body, and physical conditioning. Acrobalance will literally turn you upside down and give you a whole new perspective on your potential to be both strong and supported from the ground up into the air. No partner and no experience necessary!

Aerial rope, also known as corde lisse, is a challenging but exciting aerial apparatus. Students will learn to climb, hold themselves in various positions, wrap for and perform drops and explore movement quality. Beginner/Intermediate: Suitable for students with no experience through to students who are working on beats, inversions and multiple climbs.

Students will learn to climb, hold themselves in various positions, wrap for and perform drops and explore movement quality. Intermediate/Advanced: For students with previous experience on rope or fabric who are comfortable with beats and can invert multiple times in the air.

Learn or deepen your skills in either trapeze or lyra or both! Class includes a dynamic warm-up, floor exercises and aerial vocabulary, technique, and conditioning on static trapeze & lyra/aerial hoop in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Trapeze and Lyra are hung low at 3' to 7' high. This class is suitable for folks with no experience all the way through students working on level 6.

How do we work with a partner in the air?
This class will explore how to interact in the magical space above the ground with someone else, on trapeze, hoop or fabric.
We will look at ways to share weight, move together and create choreography together.
This is a beginning partner class, but is meant for people who already are comfortable on an aerial apparatus.
This class is open to participants 10 and up.
