Introduction to Physical Theatre During the Pandemic See All Times
November 7, 2020
Engage with the creative power of your body to find connection, laughter, and balance during the Covid days. This two day in-person workshop will explore some basics of physical theatre play while finding ways to embrace and connect within the restrictions of our current realities during Covid-19. We will jump into and find the PLAY, the JOY, and the ABSURD. We will physically embody ways to be in a creative community together while staying six feet apart. We will find the breath and stillness living dynamically in a single moment, creating beauty and balance on-stage, that translates to beauty and balance off-stage. Train your body and your mind while diving into the exploration of time and space, emotions, masks, elements, breath, stillness, neutrality, and a whole lot of fun.
Masks, social distancing, temperatures taken upon arrival, and wide open windows and doors will be required.
Limited to 10 participants.
No experience necessary.
